An intro to what we'll be publishing here
Hey everyone! We hope you’re having a great day right now, wherever you’re reading this from.
Some of you might be wondering why we’ve decided to try and utilize a Substack.
Due to our personal lives- both of us in school full time, other creative endeavors, show promoting and touring, our new Brain Graffiti newsletter and our family and personal relationships- we will be taking a little break from publishing zines, but we wanted to find another creative outlet to output more content.
As of right now, we have some fun creative ideas for stories that we want to write, but the ideas are still in limbo and the infancy stage.
There will be ABSOLUTELY NO zine content published here: no scans of pages and no new/past band interviews, page designs or graphics.
The core of what Brain Graffiti is will remain physical.
Best of all- all of the content created and published here is free for anyone to follow and subscribe to!
We’ve had a huge internal debate about whether or not we should do this; we push the narrative of physical media onto people and want people to engage with Brain Graffiti in a magazine format, and that will continue to be the case.
With a little break from the zine, we needed another place to write, and this is the perfect option for us to do so.
